North Star Gatherings Wedding | Idaho Springs, CO

Kristen and Logan!! Loved this day at North Star Gatherings so much. The cutest sentimental touches – her Grandpa’s lucky fishing lure on her bouquet, a brochure map of where they got engaged at Dead Horse State Park included in her details, photos of their dog on every table number (who wouldn’t love this??), and for their guests’ cocktail hour – a ‘sip and solve’ crossword puzzle with all the ‘clues’ being details about their lives together.

The way the fog and clouds set in that morning with subtle drops of rain – not too much, just the perfect amount to smile at each other, shrug shoulders, and say, “Rain on your wedding day means good luck, right?”

The first look was filled with adventure, just like their lives together thus far. Having met in college as two student-athletes who somehow ended up doing karaoke together, the rest is history as we know it! Moving to Colorado took their breath away as they enjoyed many camping trips to Crested Butte. And when they decided to venture around Moab with their dog Nali, Logan decided it was the perfect time to ask Kristen to marry him.

They said their vows on the mountaintop as the rain came to a stop. It was the perfect start to the day, embracing whatever came their way!

As the ceremony started, the sun came out for the first time that day as Kristen and her dad made their way down the aisle – it seemed as if everything in the moment was just so incredibly meant to be.
