Northern Colorado Regional Airport - Horsetooth Reservoir

Kelsey and Marcus had to change their wedding plans due to COVID-19, so we decided to celebrate their original date doing one of their favorite things ever— FLYING!

We met at the Northern Colorado Regional Airport where Marcus is a certified flight instructor at Leading Edge Fight Training. Kelsey was the ultimate co-pilot helping Marcus get ready for take-off— these two know teamwork!!

Marcus flew us over Fort Collins where we gazed at their alma mater, Colorado State University, and the unforgettable views of Horsetooth Reservoir. It. Was. AMAZING!

Their friends even brought their vintage cars and we went cruising down the runways going 0-60 in 2.5 with the windows down, blasting the intro to ‘Sweet Emotion’ by Aerosmith and feeling as free as can be.

The evening ~flew~ by and we ended the session well after dark, hanging out by the runway lights and soaking up the evening. I’ll tell ya what— it was the greatest gift to see the smiles on their faces as they watched the sun go down on their original wedding date. Cheers to the Harbisons, forever.
